Cutting The Line To Heaven: What Does This Look Like?

Published by Janeé Nealey, Founder of Queer Ministry

We place limits on God's love based on our standards of approval. This hierarchy is the opposite of Heaven's. We don't see God as infinite Love and Power. We deny people from God to glorify ourselves. By denying God's love to others, we demand to be first to God's Glory. We push over God in human condition. We believe we are eager to greet God, yet we stomp all over God's loved ones to get to Heaven's door. People asked Jesus how to sit at the right hand of God. Why are we so limited on what God is? How can you sit "Next" to God without sitting next to those who God loves? Why do we cling to hierarchy even in Heaven? Then there's this "first and last" narrative. Why does it matter if I'm first or last if my destination is the Glory of God? I don't mind the wait. I will gladly wait while others are walking into glory. These are my loved ones here! God embodied.
