Hello and welcome to the first ever edition of the new International Journal for Queer Ministry! In this edition you'll find key articles addressing a most basic question; What is Queer Ministry? This question has been answered in relation to our use of medieval church tradition, Queer theology and the practice of Queer African church.

The International Journal for Queer Ministry will strive to be exactly what it says it is: international, Queer and all about ministry. This means we want articles in all languages, from all places. We want you to interpret Queer however you see fit. And, most of all, we want to start sharing the incredible knowledge and resourses that exist all over the world, as we minster, as ordained and lay disciples, in Queer ways to Queer people.

In this edition you will find sample sermons, powerpoint presentations, liturgies and useful links. You will also have the opportunity to respond to anything you have read, through our online blogging feature. In essence, this interactivity is what the International Journal for Queer Ministry will strive to be all about.

Submit your own resources; we're also keen to receive mp3 files of original worship music, book reviews; if you have found it useful in Queer ministry, we want to share it!

Our editorial team currently represent Europe, Australasia, Africa and South America. If you would like to contribute your skills, as a minister, theologian or translator, we'd love to hear from you!

So, go on, have a look; learn, contribute... let's start the conversation!

Jake.
