It is anti-Black to worship the violence committed against Jesus, rather than his living legacy. Do not ignore the Indigenous African Practices Jesus used to be close with God and to do their Divine Work.

Jesus wants us to give away our possessions, to leave our white notions of family and the lives we were told to live. Jesus wants us to be free and to free others. To live in love. To be healed and to heal. To have community. To be fed and to feed. To have joy.

Jesus showed radical love and dismantled power structures. While people were in church, Jesus was out healing. While people were arguing, Jesus was teaching. While people were shunning, Jesus was calling.
